Every era has its own popular television show. American Bandstand was a musical show that was broadcast from the 50’s right up to the 80’s. For a show to air for three decades means it was really popular! In fact, this show was the inspiration for other hit shows like Top Of The Pops. It showed teenagers dancing to hit songs featured by the host Dick Clark.
Teenage boys and girls face each other on the dance floor. When the music starts, they begin performing an amazing vintage dance. The song featured here is “Just Like Romeo & Juliet” by The Reflections. You can’t find this kind of dance anywhere anymore! When the media is filled with celebrities twerking and grinding, it is nice to see such decent dance moves for a change!
